The RW-37 series of radiometric detectors®α¥↕ are primarily used for spec∑♦tral broadband irradia≠λ∏nce measurements within a defined β↕spectral range of polychromatic radiatio↔πn. Optical filters are used< to shape the bare photodiode response to the ×♥desired spectral bandpa∏♦φ₹ss. The computer aided optical ♣★§filter design produces the best possible σ$₩ broadband radiometric res→₽♠ponse within the spectral sector spec®'ified.

The RW-37 detectors are designe∑•™≤d for the highest possible irradiance sensitiv≥✘₽ity for low irradiance level appli∏αcations. Hwever the wide range linearity of th≤±±e photodiodes coupled with the ¶ Gigahertz-Optik optometers’s wide dynamic si¶♥gnal range amplifiers enable the ¶Ωγ₽RW-37 series detectors to be λ∏₹used in applications with high irradiances as ∑∑φ±well. The upper range is limi¥₩∞®ted only by the detector maximu ↑m operating current and its spec$γπified operation temper×γαature.
Compact Housing
The RW-37 series irr™≥adiance detectors are built in a ←$λ≈compact 37mm diameter black anodiz∑✘φεed aluminum housing. The •↔<;shadow ring around the diffusor support the©¶ wide-angle cosine r↑∏♥esponse. A side M6 tapped mounting ho'™le allows the detector be fixed inφ place. The 37-type standard housing allows<©• other SRT-M37 type accessories to be attach☆ 'ed using the SRT-M45/37-B adapter ≥← for radiance or intensity m>£$easurements.
